REF. 307, A WHOLE NEW TAKE ON THE BEDAT&CO CLASSICS.
The N°3 collection encompassing the tonneau-shaped cases has contributed to forging the success of BEDAT&CO for the past 10 years. The creation of Ref. 307 for Baselworld 2008 is entirely in tune with the aesthetic evolution instigated upon the arrival of William Devine as CEO. Elaborate design and pure style.
Ref. 307 is the first in the collection to feature this highly contemporary and distinctive tonneau shape. The result is a harmonious balance between the feminine curves of the case and the contemporary graphic design of the dial. Ref. 307 has an extremely strong identity, distinguished by pure, pared-down lines. The dial sections feature hour-markers that are visually extended by discreet raised squares. The bezel and sapphire crystal are facetted at 6 and 12 o’clock to create a cambered effect and slender proportions. The dial base plays with the textures of the guilloché motif and the smooth minute circle. In a sophisticated emphatic touch symbolizing good luck and prosperity, the BEDAT&CO applied figure “ ” emblem is delicately placed at 8 o’clock. Its gentle curves enrich the dial lines to create a complementary effect inspired by Art Déco traditions. Timeless refinement and aesthetic finishing.
The “cornflower” blue color of the alligator leather strap has been carefully chosen. Whatever the season, it ideally enhances a graceful silhouette with an original and resolutely feminine touch. All the BEDAT&CO straps are rolled-edged and hand-stitched by craftsmen in the Jura region, in accordance with the standards of the A.O.S.C. quality charter. Ref. 307 is equipped with a self-winding ETA 2000.1 movement. Like each timepiece by the brand, the case of Ref. 307 bears the figure “ ” maker’s mark and is accompanied by an A.O.S.C. certificate, standing for Appellation d’Origine Suisse Certifiée (or certified label of Swiss origin).
