ARMIN STROM AG – BASELWORLD 2008 ARMIN STROM is showcasing some new collections at BASELWORLD 2008, where the company with tradition presents four brand-new series of watches. This is the first ARMIN STROM brand collection with a specially designed movement assembly. For decades, the name Armin Strom has stood for hand-skeletized watches – individually crafted masterpieces that are delivered by the master craftsman in person. The “grand tradition of skeleton timepieces” is now evolving into a brand. At Baselworld the company founded in Armin Strom’s name presents a broader range of products on the 50 square meters in hall 1.1, booth A11. BLUE CHIP
Blue Chip – a solid value. It isn’t only the name of this model series that conveys power and grandeur. The eye-catching flutes in the solid 46 mm stainless steel case lend the watch authority, but also elegance. This model series offers a modern chronograph with date at 9 o’clock, an automatic movement with power reserve, a traditional automatic watch with an opening in the dial as well as the model with hand winding and a small secondary display, also with an open dial. In every design, the powerful movement has been hand engraved and is visible through the transparent case back. The colour matt black prevails amongst the various dial designs.
BLUE CHIP GOLD
The solid case of the Blue Chip range is also available in rose gold. Selected components of the movement, e.g. the rotor, have also been gold plated. The timepiece becomes entirely exclusive with the matching diamond baguettes on its bezel. ELEGANCE MAN
This model with its classical and harmonious forms combines with a high-quality
manufactory movement to be both elegant and sophisticated. The stylish case in white or rose gold, or stainless steel, measures 38.6 mm. The straps in alligator leather perfectly complement the watch face. The case back in sapphire crystal affords a view of the artistically, partially-skeletized and decorated watch movement as well as the 22 Ct gold rotors. ELEGANCE LADY
The lady’s wristwatch from the ELEGANCE series achieves its sleek and refined look thanks to a restrained design, its harmonious dimensions making it stand out. A choice of a steel or rose gold case (35 mm) exists for this watch. The high-quality and artisticallydesigned manufactory movement remains visible through the sapphire case back. The watchstraps are optionally available in alligator leather, stingray leather or satin.
ELEMENTS
The four elements of fire, water, air and earth are representative of genesis but also transience. The ELEMENTS model series manifestly assimilates these factual earthly conditions and hence affirms sympathy for the relevant systems of life. The hours, minutes and seconds display are intentionally positioned out of centre. The retrograde date display is a principal element of this watch. For the first time, ARMIN STROM presents a specially-designed movement assembly in this series. Here again, the movement with hand winding remains visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
